2012 Prophecies: How can you keep a positive thinking?

The year of 2012 seems to be an interesting year…
I am sure you have heard about the predictions and prophecies around this period.

In one hand, there is the Mayan ‘Long Count’ calendar ending on December 21st making people developing fear as they thought it might be the end of the world.
And the other hand, according to the Chinese zodiac, 2012 is the year of dragon, which is considered to be a positive and a very promising year for everyone.

2012 Predictions and Prophecies

Apparently, the Maya were not the only ones to be aware that something would be going on around 2012. Many ancient traditions are also mentioning their beliefs and inherited prophecies about Earth at this point of time.

Indeed, the Zulus believe that the whole world will be turned upside down. Like the Maya, the Cherokee say their ancient calendar ends exactly at the year 2012. The Maoris mention that as the veils between the physical and spiritual worlds dissolve, they will merge.
The Aztec names this the period of Sixth Sun; a time of transformation that will give birth to a new race.

You might wonder how can you have positive thinking regarding all these predictions?
As you have noticed, no one knows exactly what will happen, but something is clear it is a year of transformation. No need to panic whatsoever.
You have to see 2012 prophecies as the potentiality of a solution.

We should rather be thankful to the Maya for giving us this important information.

Whatever will happen the next months, adopting a positive thinking seems to me the best solution. It will make things easier, and even enjoyable.

I’m sure you have a brilliant idea hidden somewhere in the back of your mind. Then, it is the right time to bring it to life.

7 Tips for positive thinking

Having a bit of positive thinking can help you realize things that are never thought possible. Thinking big can be very helpful.

1. Take passionate action towards living your life by design. Action is key. Talking too much does not make things moving.

2. Embrace and identify the thought that each moment is perfect regardless of its outcome. Every time you hit on something that may appear too ‘big’, why not give it a try and see if it will work. You will be surprised to see that there are other ways to get the task done in time. If you are not convinced with the result, decide to use that moment to learn from and make the appropriate shift.

3. Commit to yourself and give others every experience you seek. Instead of reacting, commit to creating from your heart and soul, out of love rather than fear. Be amazed as the transformation begins.

4. Dwell into gratitude. Learn to utilize what you have in your hands and make use of it in the most constructive way. Slipping into neediness will become less of a habit when you repeatedly shift towards gratitude, away from poverty consciousness.

5. Forget about the past and be happy. The past is already over. All that count is right now so make the most of it today.

6. Keep humour at the forefront of thought, laughing at and with yourself when possible. Humour is very attractive, very passionate and synonym of life giving.

7. Believe that you are the creator of your own experience. No one can take your passionate future from you except for you! Create your life authentically. As long as there’s still breath in your body, there is no end to how much you can accomplish in a lifetime. The concept of thinking big is all about enjoying what you like doing. Appreciate and watch everything flow into place with perfect, passionate precision.

Finally, by taking consistent actions, and adopting a positive thinking, you will see the year 2012 as an opportunity to realise your dreams.

How can you reduce stress and start a healthy life?

Rothko Chapel Last week, I talked about resolution we all have for each New Year. How serious were you about it?
Let’s say that you have set up goals for 2012, and you want to be more relaxed and you want to have a healthier life than last year.
Then, it is time for you to empower your own word.

We are all human, and I know how easily we can be discouraged when it is the moment to take some action. That’s why it makes sense to start with realistic goals at first.

Reduce Stress:

There are different and easy ways to relieve stress that you are facing every day. As mentioned already in this blog, this condition has to be taken seriously if you want to feel good mentally and physically.
You can always find excuse not having time to look after yourself. But you have to ask yourself whether it makes sense to take care of others and not doing it for you. Sometimes, it can be helpful to be selfish.
It should be possible for you to find a minimum of 15 to 20 minutes a day as a start in order to notice some improvement.

Here are some basic options that you can try today to relieve stress:
- Find a quiet room in your place and sit comfortably. You can either: just take deep breath or listen relaxing music. If you don’t have such music. You can go to Youtube.com and search for ‘relaxing music’, you will get load of them.
- Sit in a park and take several deep fresh airs to evacuate tension.
- At work, during your breaks, go outside to get new air. Don’t hesitate to walk.
- Book an appointment for a massage or reflexology treatment.

Healthy life now!

In order to get a healthier life, it does not need to be a radical change but rather progressive actions to accustomed the body.
- Reducing of alcohol and caffeine intake
- Drink 1, 5 litre a day
- Eat well : Make sure every meal is balanced – Each time (every 3 hours), small quantity is recommended: incorporate proteins like fish, lean meats, egg whites, fist-sized portions of complex carbohydrates like brown rice (eliminate white rice), whole-wheat bread and pasta, multigrain cereal and potatoes, and fist-sized portions of vegetable and fruits
- Exercise and exercise. It is never too much to repeat how important your body need some activity in order to proper function. Again, no need to prepare for the marathon (it’s ok if you can do it!). If you get bored easily, you can always vary your activities (gym, walk outside, dance at home, etc…).

By eating well, and by increasing your level of physical activity, you are telling your body that you want to burn a substantial amount of fuel. This means to burn fat more efficiently for energy.
Also, what you need to realize is that staying active and eating right are critical for long-term health and wellness.

Finally, taking action to make some change in your life required motivation and energy. You might find this self-help program useful if you want to achieve your goal faster.

Do You Still Have Resolution For Each New Year?

It has been quite some time since my last post.
According to my husband, I was so relaxed and enjoying life that I didn’t have time to write on this blog.
Well, I reckon that I was very busy with other projects.

So, here I am back with new resolution for 2012.
Resolution… That’s a big word! Each year we have some.

Do you still formulate mentally or write down your resolution at the beginning of each year?
Is your new resolution sounds like the same than last year because you have not achieve none of them?

Obviously, it is important to look back of the previous year and see how things can be improved.
As you might have noticed, we need goal or resolution in order to move on. Otherwise, you feel that your life have no purpose. You just wake up in the morning, go to work, come back home, have dinner in front of TV, go to bed and wake up again and so on.
You realise this kind of life is not really exciting!

Would you decide to bring some innovation in your life in 2012?

It does not need to be a huge change. You can start with something you would like to do for some time but you have never really dare to start. Could it be playing a music instrument? What about starting writing a blog about your passion?
If you have no idea about what you really like, have you thought about volunteering in hospital?
Of course, there are plenty things to do. You have to find what you are passionate about and start enjoying life.

At the end of the day, it is better to focus on one or two goals in order to achieve them. Instead of starting several activities at once and not realising none of them.

The most important is, you should feel that the new activities chosen would bring happiness in your life.

Have a nice 2012.

Hay Fever Sufferers: Discover How Reflexology Can Help You!

I met recently someone who was in a terrible condition because of hay fever. He told me that the symptoms will continue until the summer… meaning three more months of suffering.

I was used to be like this man with my sinusitus (the symptoms are the same as hay fever).

I had to try different medicine before finding the one, which worked.
However, even though I could get some relief, the symptoms would still continue until the summer.
And, when a particular brand works once it does not mean that it will work the year after.

But, since I became a reflexologist, the hay fever last only two weeks.

In the video below, I show you the techniques I have been using that you can apply for yourself.

If you really want to have results like me you have to use the technique every day.

Try and see if it works for you. Let me know your experience!

The Relaxation Response: A New Solution To Busting Your Stress Situations or Events!

The Relaxation Response
In today’s society, you often hear people in every spheres of life describing how stressful their lives have become. From a medical standpoint, stress is seen as any circumstance that requires you adaptation. Generally, however, the word is loosely applied to virtually any situation or event evokes anger, anxiety or frustration.

A lot of us believe that stress is all in the mind. But I’ve got news for you: Stress can also be physical, for example, such as the stress of exercise or the stress of a debilitating disease, as well as situational or emotional, such as the stress of a high-pressure job or the emotional pain of a relationship break-up.

Scientists, who study stress and its negative and harmful effects, believe that situations that cause stress are more likely to be damaging if you cannot predict or control them, such as your working environment where you wield enormous responsibility, but little control or power over how it is managed.

It is also believed that stress is more likely to have adverse effects if you lack social support (literally a shoulder to cry on) or if you have personal, financial, or other pressing concerns.

There are many ways to relieving one’s stress, (learn more), but according to one, a MD working out of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School, his relaxation response method to relieving stressful situations is particularly effective if approached in the following two ways.

1. Get yourself a mental focusing device – such as focusing on your breathing or repeating a phrase, prayer, or sound to help you shift your mind from everyday thoughts and worries.
2. Adapting a passive mental attitude toward distracting thoughts, which means not worrying about how well you are doing (or about the laundry or a business report), but gently directing your mind back to your focus when you notice yourself being distracted.
“The relaxation response must be learned and practiced, ideally at least once a day,” said Dr. Benson.
Follow are a series of steps, Dr. Benson advices that may take several attempts before you begin to feel the effects of the two-pronged stress-buster methods mentioned above.

“Once you have mastered the art of relaxation response,” said Dr. Benson, “you will be able to use it at your desk, before a speech, or during any other event that is stressful for you.”
Let’s begin…
· Step 1: Pick a focus phrase, image, or prayer. You may also choose to focus on your breathing.
· Step 2: Find a quiet place and sit calmly in a comfortable position.
· Step 3: Close your eyes.
· Step 4: Relax all of your muscles.
· Step 5: Breathe slowly and naturally. As you do, repeat your focus word or phrase as you exhale.
· Step 6: Assume a positive posture. Do not worry about how well you are doing. When other thoughts come to mind, simply return to the repetition.
· Step 7: Continue for 10 to 20 minutes.
· Step 8: Practice the technique once or twice daily.

No matter what method or methods you use to control the harmful effects of the stressful situations or events in your life, it is very important that the aim if for you to effectively neutralize the negative effects of modern stress on your health and well-being.
