The power of praying

The power of praying

Even though, you are a believer or not, or you are aware of a higher consciousness above all, and you have chosen to name it: God, Allah, Buddha, the Source, and the Unity or other name. It does not matter. What is matter is to be conscious that you are not alone and you can have some help from higher level.
Praying is not designated only to religious or spiritual people. You may not have prayed since your childhood or never prayed before, you can always start at any time when you are ready to do so.

Why praying?

The prayer allows you to be in communication with your “Higher Self”. It is the breathing of the soul.
By praying, you establish a close relationship with the divine/the nature.
Prayer allows us to remain connecting with the universe. As human being, we tend to weaken sometimes face to difficulties. Ideally, you can pray regularly not only when you experience trouble in your life. Actually, you could pray for peace on earth, for your family, or friends…
I sometimes pray to stay focus or motivated while I working on an important project. I always pray before taking an exam.
Of course, faith is the key for results while praying. Having faith helps you to see your dream comes true.
In his book, Conversation with God, Neale Donald Walsch goes further; he says that when you pray is for thanking God for the answer before even getting the result. It means that you create what you want and you believe that it is happening. You thank God even if you have not received your answer yet.

How to pray?

In fact, you don’t need to be an expert in theology to start praying. It can be very simple and most important it has to be sincere.

A prayer is like talking to a friend. And as you would do with a friend, you share everything without being judged.

There are different ways to pray, the most popular one is to be kneeling or you can be stand up and closing your eyes if you want.

Obviously, when you are working, it is a bit difficult to expose yourself.

At the end of the day, I do not think there is a perfect way or particular time to pray. You can be in front of your computer, treating a client, walking in the street, etc… and making a prayer. All you have to do is to allow you a few minutes to have a little prayer from your heart. As mentioned earlier, the most important is to be sincere.

Finally, you can close the prayer with the word “Amen” if you want or you can say “May God receive my prayer” or simply by standing or sitting in silence for a minute or two.
